Global market conditions remain difficult and will continue for the balance of the year. Freight costs (Ocean and U.S. trucking) continue to climb and are at the highest rates the industry has ever seen as well as increases in material cost and labor. We have done our best to minimize and/or delay any increases up to this point but now are faced with putting through an increase on selected items effective Sept. 20, 2021 with MAP compliance date effective Oct. 1. This cost increase has impacted many of the vacuums and parts being sold by Essco today including the Cirrus brand. We will continue our efforts to monitor this situation in hopes of reducing or removing these increases in the future.
